The number of games now available through the instant-play online casino platform from GTECH G2 now stands at 53 after the online developer and provider released nine new titles.
GTECH G2 is the interactive subsidiary of leading American gaming technology and services firm GTECH Corporation and its latest update features three slots and a new video poker game alongside American roulette and Showdown poker.
Providence-based GTECH is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Lottomatica, one of the world’s largest commercial lottery operators, and stated that its total portfolio of download, instant-play and third-party games is now well over 300 games while the latest update adds Bulgarian to its list of 13 supported languages.
“Last year was a busy year,” said Dominic Mansour, Head Of Casino for GTECH G2.
“With all of our new collaborations and partnerships, we launched quite a collection of new games. Our own Games Studio team has more incredible products in development for 2010 and, thanks to the flexibility of our advanced back-end systems, we’ll continue to aggregate games from other sources to maintain a comprehensive collection of innovative products.”
The new update also features a pair of instant-win games, new scratchcard titles and the Virtual Derby horseracing pastime. The first in a series of Track Day games, Virtual Derby is a fixed-odds single player horseracing game that incorporates movie clips. Players can place win, place, show quinella and exacta wagers before sitting back to watch video animation of the race.
“Virtual Derby is developed by Solid Icon and has been integrated into GTECH G2’s aggregated product line-up alongside games developed by our internal games development teams as well as other developers,” said Henrik Fagerlund, Head Of Instant Game Development for GTECH G2.
