Leading online poker site AbsolutePoker.com has announced that its Trishelle Cannatella bested some of the entertainment world’s biggest celebrities on Monday night in a $1,070 straddle no-limit hold’em charity tournament.
The event was held at the Hard Rock Hotel And Casino in Las Vegas in support of the Sharon Osbourne Colon Cancer Program at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and saw a field of 60 players that included sister site UltimateBet.com's Tiffany Michelle.
Cannatella joined AbsolutePoker.com as a celebrity endorser in November and sat down next to celebrities including actors Lou Diamond Phillips, Nancy Cartwright and Robert Iler with all proceeds going to charity. Other celebrities involved in the event included April Scott from The Dukes Of Hazzard, Jesse Metcalfe from Desperate Housewives and Nicholas Gonzalez from Mental alongside actors Shaun Sipos and Dennis Haskins, Playboy Playmates Sara Underwood, Jessica Burciaga and Jessa Lynn Hinton and Cheryl Hines from Curb Your Enthusiasm.
This isn't the first poker tournament Cannatella has won. The reality television star got the Texas hold'em itch after winning her first event at Caesars. A subsequent appearance on Celebrity Poker Showdown only served to further her desire to pursue a career in poker.
Kahnawake-licensed AbsolutePoker.com stated that players can employ its free Absolute Buddy software to discover where Cannatella is seated before joining her for some online poker action.
