|Arnold Schwarzenegger is considering a new role as governor of California, according to Internet bookmakers Intertops.com. |
The 55-year-old Austrian hopes to follow in the footsteps of fellow blockbuster action hero Clint Eastwood and former US president Ronald Reagan, by running for political office in 2006.
Internet bookmakers Intertops.com believe that Schwarzenegger -- who has slaughtered 446 people in his movie career -- will not be able to resist the lure of the ultimate stage.
'Arnie sees himself as a 'compassionate conservative' and idolizes George W. Bush,' said Intertops.com chief Bet Manager Michael Maerz.
'Arnie recently spoke at the Beverley Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles about 'who's saving America's kids' and was made the Chairman of the President's Council on Physical Fitness in 1989. He clearly likes having his ego stroked on a grand scale.
'Although he is keeping his cards close to his expansive chest, we believe that The Terminator 'will be back'.'
