|AIM -listed Gaming Corporation has launched its first online casino following a licensing deal with software developer Boss Media in September.|
The new casino can be reached via Gaming Corporationís gaming portal Casino.co.uk. Casino.co.uk currently receives more than 75,000 user sessions a month; according to the gaming firm, this generates about 200,000 page impressions a month.
The new venture is being operated from the Dutch Antilles, where it is licensed.
The URL for the new casino is play.casino.co.uk. It will be marketed across sites including Onthebox.com, Casino.co.uk and Casino.com (the latter is owned by Boss Media). Gaming Corporation plans to build an 'extensive' affiliate network, as well as to create a white label package to operate sites on behalf of major brands.
Swedish software company Boss Media was paid an initial set-up fee to develop the casino and will also get a cut of further revenues.
Gaming Corporation said it has access to extensive mailing lists and has employed a search engine optimisation specialist to boost its presence. It describes the capital investment in the new casino as 'considerable'.
Gaming Corporation CEO Justin Drummond said: 'We are confident that offering our extensive existing customer base new products and services such as the online casino will add both significant turnover and profitability during the next financial year.'
