Gaming Insight isnít Barking Mad

Gaming Insight has announced that as of next week gobarkingmad, its iTV greyhound gambling channel, is to be re-branded Red Button Racing.

David Sanderson, chief executive, hopes the change will make the point of the channel clearer to viewers. However the original name will still apply to Gaming Insightís website and betting application on the Sky Digital Channel.

Gaming Insight still has plans for gobarkingmad having successfully raised £2 million to invest in the product last year. At the cost of ending partnerships with Altavista and Harrods, and the selling off of the companyís web-based virtual reality casino, Gaming Insight is set to focus resources into the planned expansion of gobarkingmad into other countries.

In addition to the search for a foreign market Gaming Insight has secured race form and race card content for gobarkingmadís channel and website. The deal was made with Press Association News making iself quite the monopoly. PA has already made similar deals with Sky, Channel 4 and Arena Leisureís iTV.

Revenue made from the deal is to be split three ways between Gaming Insight, PA and the British Greyhound Racing Board. Should be quite the handy little earner to support Insightís obsessive interest in gobarkingmad.
