Internet Roulette at MSNBC
By staff
At the moment itís very uncommon to find articles in the mainstream press about gambling. Unless of course itís to do with some gambling related crime or scandalous change in the legislation. Though perhaps thatís too cynical.

By and large though the concerns of the gambling community seem to be mostly ignored by the media except for specialist publications such as Online Casino News. However I am pleased to have come across at least a few exceptions to this rule one of which is MSNBC.

In fact this online news site has devoted an entire section to the topic of gambling. Since the late nineties MSNBC has run the section entitled: Internet Roulette: A High-Stakes Showdown Over Gambling On the Web. Sadly the site is updated very infrequently however itís still heartening to see it in existence, let alone being maintained at all.

Among the various features offered by the site you can find various articles and opinion as well as some useful information about Internet gambling, for example, the status of I-gaming regulation laws across different countries of the globe. Particularly noteworthy is the interactive map that shows how I-gaming is spread across the world.

Itís a shame that there arenít many other mainstream news sources for I-gaming available but until there is then at least thereís a few online sites like MSNBC. The site may be viewed at: http://www.msnbc.com/news/ROULETTE_Front.asp
