MGM MIRAGE Online has appointed James Hilton as Director of Online Marketing as it strengthens its push into the UK gaming and gambling market. James’ role will be to maximise the awareness and understanding ( amongst its online target audience, encouraging both trial and loyalty, increasing registrations within the online casino.

Reporting to Oscar Nieboer, Vice President Marketing at MGM MIRAGE Online, James will oversee all online marketing channels. These include: affiliate management, search engine marketing [SEM], as well as managing associated mediums search engine optimisation [SEO] and Pay for Performance [PFP], Online PR, Viral Campaigns, CRM and eCRM.

With previous employment at Grey Advertising, Universal Studios, Grey Interactive and Continuum Interactive, James has held marketing positions with each of the aforementioned companies. James’ last position was at, where he headed up online traffic development. There he launched a highly successful affiliate network and SEO programme, and negotiated and implemented portal partnerships with MSN, Yahoo, Freeserve and Lycos encompassing media, e-mail and content integration.
