|Police in Vietnam have arrested 52 people for betting illegally and European soccer matches. The arrests were made in Ho Chi Minh City over the weekend and included bookmakers taking pets via their mobile phones, in person at sports cafes.|
A similar raid took place in Permas Jaya 1 3 Singaporeans in Malaysian were arrested for running and illegal bookmaking operation from their penthouse. The considerable operation allegedly took more than RM12 million in bets each day, laying the moth run online bookmakers. District Attorney Richard Brown is gleaming to see the illegal betting operation shut down, and hopes that the elimination of approximately $600,000 will put a dent in the Gambino family bankroll.
