Sportingbet Expands with a Little Help from a Friend

Sportingbet is to expand its online casino and gambling operations after signing a new agreement with software developer Boss Media. The UK-based firm is to buy two more online casinos from Boss Media, one for its US sports book site, Sportingbet.com, and one for its UK sports book site, Sportingbet.co.uk.

Boss Media will also provide Sportingbet with new online poker software. This will be available for players through a number of the company's websites including sportingbet, SportingOdds, Superbahis and EuroSportswetten.

Boss Media sold Sportingbet an online casino, SuperVegas-Casino, last summer. Kenny Alexander, Sportingbet Europe MD: 'We have experienced great success with our online casino and gaming products over the last 12 months and this commitment will further cement this.”

Boss Media said that the deal fits in with its strategy to establish a strong position in the British market, which is growing rapidly. This is largely due to a combination of high internet penetration and a favourable legal climate. They certainly have more than just a foothold in the UK as it is. They already supply software to several UK firms such as Gala Group, Victor Chandler, Bet 365 Group and Gaming Corp

Boss Media certainly seem to be doing well this year. On top of their success with Sportingbet they won a deal with William Hill in February.
