Unfortunately, internet gambling is still illegal in Australia, despite banks and credit card companies issuing strong statements regarding their unwanted role as unofficial policemen.
Tabcorp, whose shares have fallen by 15 percent over the past year, has responded by creating smoking rooms and allowing customers to reserve machines during breaks. But face it, who wants to get up and move to a confined wind tunnel of cinders when you’re on a roll?
