Offline Taxes Higher in AC
By earl
The $90,000,000 taxes imposed on the casinos by the state government will result in higher fees for parking your car at any casino hotel, and for staying at any casino hotel.

The 11 casinos in Atlantic City are also passing the cost of the new tax on to its customers when they buy meals and tickets to shows. In other words, just about everything you do in Atlantic City will now cost you more as the casinos attempt to prevent a slice into their profits by passing the tax hike, in effect, onto their customers.

It is possible that even “comp” hotel rooms, rooms given to favored customers, for example, as gratis, will come with the room tax charge.

Nothing then, will be free any longer in the free-wheeling Atlantic City casinos.
