World Gaming Regains Trading Symbol After NASDAQ Mistake

The OTC BB is changing the World Gaming symbol back to its original form of WGMGY, after it was incorrectly replaced by WGMGE following a mistake by NASDAQ regarding the company’s status as a foreign issuer. The companies annual filling for the period ending April 30, 2001 would be due October 31, 2001 as a foreign issuer.

World gaming, who recently announced the opening of their London headquarters where happy to put the incident behind them. “This was an unfortunate error and I’m glad to have the matter resolved,” said Mike Aymong, CEO of World Gaming. “As announced earlier this week, the company will be filing year end results in September, at which time we will be hosting a conference call for shareholders. I look forward to being able to review the company’s financial progress at that time.”
