Yes we are talking about chickens here, real, live chickens. Trained by Tennessee farmer Bunky Boger the chickens peck out their moves on a video screen while contenders compete from a video screen outside of the booth where the champion chickens (who apparently rarely lose) reside.
The chickens will be treated like ‘royalty’ according to Dennis Gomes, president of resort operations for Tropicana parent Aztar Corp. This hasn’t stopped Karen Davis, president of United Poultry Concerns from branding the event “an inhumane game.”
Despite the fears of Dennis Conrad, president of Raving Consulting that the contest was unwinnable he hopes players will perceive “only a positive experience”
