CRIS to offer exchange betting

Costa Rica International Sportsbook (CRIS), one of the biggest online sportsbooks in the world, is to offer peer to peer (P2P) betting. Betting exchange tech firm TradingSports announced Thursday that it has signed a five year exclusive contract with CRIS.

CRIS is a high- profile Sportsbook with an annual turnover in excess of $1billion. Established in 1984, the company currently operates out of Costa Rica.

TradingSports added that CRIS is widely recognised as the sportsbook responsible for setting the North American bookmaking markets, determining the odds and betting lines faster than other bookmakers.

The contract marks CRIS's first venture into the P2P betting market. The TradingSports platform will enable CRIS’s punters to place in-running bets on a wide range of sporting events, such as the next NFL and basketball seasons.

The exchange will be launched Thursday on CRIS's website
