Ladbrokes files complaint to Finnish Chancellor of Justice

Turf accountant Ladbrokes has complained to the Finnish Chancellor of Justice because it claims the Ministry of the Interior is hindering Internet gambling in the country.

According to the Helsingin Sanomat, the British bookie claims that there's nothing in Finnish law to stop it marketing its Internet gambling service.

Being a member of the EU, Finland, like Greece and Italy, has no legal basis to stop Internet gambling.

The Ministry claims it’s preventing Ladbrokes from marketing Internet gambling in line with its own legislation.
