Capitalizing on the Poker mania, AngelCiti Entertainment's wholly owned subsidiary Worldwide Management is launching SharkPoker.com. The new SharkPoker website will have a live multi-player environment and the latest state-of-the-art online poker software.
Sharkpoker.com will compete with sites like PokerStars.com where $2.5 million was won by a player who qualified by winning an online tournament of this year's World Series of Poker which attracted a record 839 players.
Independent reports from Bear Stearns and Christiansen Capital Advisors peg the online gambling and Net Casinos pegs the industry’s annual revenue between $4.2 billion to $4.5 billion for 2003 with 2005 revenue estimates to exceed $10 billion. InformaMedia Group, which tracks electronic gambling, predicts that online gaming revenue will even reach $14.5 billion by 2006.
