|The Herald Sun reports that the Crown Casino here, built six years ago for 2 billion Australian dollars, “has been warned that it needs a facelift or it risks losing its world-class status,” according to a gaming regulator, after the release of a review conducted by the Victorian Casino and Gaming Authority. The review indicates that “areas of the casino are on the brink of slipping below international standards. Some parts of the casino complex, such as the furnishings, are showing their age.” The review also said that, “The authority expects Crown to redirect more funds to capital expenditure . . . to ensure the casino complex remains a world-class facility.” |
