|The casino game ‘craps’ is set to be the subject of a lecture by music teacher Craig Hurst at the University of Wisconsin, Waukesha. The presentation is being promoted as “Life Skills 101: Enjoying the Game of Craps” and is part of a series of lectures regarding tutors personal hobbies.|
“I though maybe that would be kind of a fun alternative. It’s a way to inject a little fun and light heartedness into our campus,” said Hurst who says that craps is his favourite casino game.
Concerns that craps is not a suitable topic for a university lecture were voiced by Lee C., who organises regular Gamblers Anonymous meetings, “An educated man like himself, a professor, could find some other topics. I mean, teaching them about craps?”
Lee said that he was worried that craps was the wrong subject to be approached in this way, saying that he had witnessed the gambling addictions of young people that had led to their financial ruin.
