|Internet Gambling may be coming under fire in Australia, but gaming company Ebet are already looking to the future, and the future is in the US. Together with US partner Penn National Gaming the company expects to gather ‘an attractive share’ of the US Internet horse betting market.|
Ebet believe that the market will reach a total turnover of US$18.7 billion (AU$35 billion) in the next three years, and despite an EBITDA loss of around AU$ 3.4 million that they are expected to announce this week the company are confidant of growth “in the near term.”
US partner Penn, a racetrack and casino operator, is already using Ebet’s system on the new Playboy Internet gambling site. In Australia Ebet are concentrating on card based gaming systems, used to link poker machines in different venues.
