|Sportingbet.com have teamed up with Yoomedia in a deal that promises to bring fixed odds betting games to UK living rooms. Sportingbet, will be able launch such games from their repertoire as Winners Wheel, SuperHiLo, Blackjack and Joker Poker on cable television, following the three year, revenue sharing contract between the two companies.|
'We plan to launch first on cable and then roll out Sportingbet's games products on to satellite and digital terrestrial,' said Andrew Fearon, chief operating officer at Yoomedia, a rapidly expanding media company who’s recent success he puts down to partnering with ‘strong brands.’ Yoomedia raised £2.4m in October alone to invest in new emerging opportunities.
According to netimperative.com, Sportingbet will ‘provide the odds betting, customer services and transaction capabilities, which will enable YooMedia to develop and launch Sportingbet's games products.’
Sportingbet will be delighted with their expansion to television. Reaching wider audiences is integral to their corporate identity. Company founder, Mark Blandford, believes that Sportingbet, ultimately, “is not about offering British customers something they’ve already got – its about offering international customers what they’ve never had.”
