|The Daily Telegraph's website, telegraph.co.uk has launched a new instant wins games area within sport.telegraph.co.uk. The section is built and operated by online gaming specialists Gamesys, and goes live this week at www.games.telegraph.co.uk.|
The new section gives telegraph.co.uk readers a chance to play a wide range of online games, earning points which they can convert into prize draw entries for DVD players, football shirts, digital cameras, weekend breaks and other prizes. Players can also join in community chat rooms with others on the site, comparing notes on strategies and recent wins.
Games on the site include many old favourites such as slot machines, lotto, number and card games. Additionally there are topical games such as Rugby Hero, where players have to predict whether a player will score a conversion
or not, and Beat The Keeper, a game for football fans to try to score penalty kicks. Other sports games will be added shortly, and the list of games will be refreshed regularly, to maintain a high level of interest for players. The games can be played for free to accrue prize points, or pay-to-play basis to win cash prizes.
Tom Gadd at telegraph.co.uk said: 'We are delighted to be working with Gamesys and launching the new gaming section on sport.telegraph.co.uk. Our users have a keen interest in sport and I'm sure the new games will prove very popular.'
