|AngelCiti Entertainment has announced that over 100,000 people have downloaded online casino software from its wholly-owned subsidiary Worldwide Management. |
'We are very pleased to have achieved this benchmark in barely over a year and a half of operations,' remarked AngelCiti president George Gutierrez. 'This user base is important not only for measuring our progress to date, but it also provides an enormous resource to which we can market and launch new products. We are exploring new product offerings including live-gaming over the Internet, gaming over cell phones and PDAs and other state-of-the-art progressions in the industry, and with a larger gaming database we are better prepared to take advantage of these rapidly growing opportunities.'
A Bear Stearns report for the industry estimates annual revenue for the online gaming industry at $4.2 billion for 2003, while Christiansen Capital Advisors’ estimation is $4.5 billion in revenue for calendar year 2002, with 2005 revenue predicted to possibly exceed $10 billion. InformaMedia Group, which tracks electronic gambling predicts that online gaming revenue will reach $14.5 billion by 2006.
AngelCiti's provides software to numerous online casinos including SharkCasino.com, SharkPoker.com and TheHouseWins.com, with English, Spanish, German, Chinese and Japanese versions available.
