|Sportingbet, the world’s biggest online sportsbook, have announced it’s getting even bigger, after seeing its sales rise by 20% in the third financial quarter. The bookmaker said its pre-tax profits rose by 61% when compared with the same period last year, and that sales rose from £298.9 million to £360 million.|
Since its foundation in 1998, the British company has been one of the Internet’s real success stories and now operates under fully regulated licenses in the UK, Australia, Antigua and Curacao. It boasts over eight hundred thousand customers and trades in over a hundred countries, eleven languages and eleven currencies.
Sportingbet also said that trading was strong in the first four weeks of the fourth quarter and that the group was performing in line with its expectations.
