Two of Microgaming’s operator groups have chosen not to continue using the company’s software for their online casinos. In a recent press release from Microgaming no reason was given for the loss of the licensees, although the company hinted at its strict policy of regulation of all it’s operators.

Roger Raatgever of Microgaming stated simply that “since Microgaming is the largest supplier of software, it is inevitable that the company will lose operators from time to time.”

The press release also stated that Microgaming were confidant that its operators “will continue to prosper and grow from the use of its unique software.” The company stressed its intention to provide “entertainment of utmost integrity.”

Microgaming is so protective of the innovative nature of their products that the company is currently offering a $500,000 reward for information leading to a successful prosecution of “any person or corporate entity that has pirated or unlawfully profited from its intellectual property.”
