|International Lottery & Totalizator Systems Inc. has announced that the company has signed contracts with a customer for an on-line lottery system, which will be operated in India. The total value of the contract is believed to be approximately $15 million.|
The contract means that ILTS will deliver a turnkey system, including on-line terminals and system hardware and software. The company will also provide other services, including software support, installation and training.
ILTS President Mark Michalko commented:
“These contracts establish a strong ILTS presence in India and further strengthen our position in Asia. We look forward to providing the system to make this lottery a success”.
ILTS Vice President of Technical Operations, Tim Groth, added, “The installed system will utilize a state-of-the-art communication network. The network will use VSAT, IP and traditional dedicated landlines in a hybrid configuration. This network demonstrates ILTS’ ability to configure advanced communication technology to meet our customer’s business requirements”.
