Spread across 64-games, the three-week long event, today announced that the company expects to receive $30 million in bets on the 2004 men's NCAA basketball tournament.

The Aussie company, which is a part of the BetCorp (BCL) group of companies, accepted over US$650 million in wagers in 2003 and expects to take more bets on the NCAA tournament than any other single sporting event staged in the US and Canada.

It is estimated that most Las Vegas sportsbooks are expected to receive over US$80 million combined on this year's NCAA tournament. ‘Each March the men's NCAA basketball tournament captivates millions who are seemingly more concerned with their vested interest in an office pool than the performance of their favorite team or alma mater,' said Simon Noble, CEO of
