|Interlott Technologies, Inc. has announced that the Illinois State Lottery has ordered 40 new 24-bin freestanding Instant Ticket Vending Machines (ITVM’s). The ITVM’s are presently being delivered and are to be placed in retail outlets throughout the state. In addition to this, the Minnesota State Lottery has renewed its contract for ITVM lease and service for another five-year term and ordered several additional ITVM’s.|
Interlott is the nation’s leading manufacturer of Instant Ticket Vending Machines and other high-security vending products. It currently supplies ITVM’s to 27 of the 38 domestic lottery jurisdictions.
President and Chief Executive Officer, David F. Nichols, said, “Interlott is very pleased to continue these invaluable relationships with the Illinois and Minnesota lotteries. We believe these program extensions are the result of the high-quality machines, technological advantages and superior service that all of our clients have come to expect from Interlott.”
The Illinois state Lottery contact was acquired by Interlott with the lottery assets and technology of San Marcos, Californian-based On-Point Technology, Systems, Inc. in June 2002. The contract includes the service and operation of more than 2,700 ITVM’s throughout the state.
Nichols’ added, “We are particularly excited to extend the relationship with the Illinois State Lottery, one of the largest state lotteries in the country. It is an encouraging sign as we move forward with efforts to retain and increase our business with the lotteries that joined the Interlott family as part of the acquisition this summer.”
