|It has been announced that Mark Juliano has resigned as President and Chief Operating Officer of the MGM MIRAGE Atlantic City Project.|
Mr Juliano commented, “I am delighted to have participated in the project’s development to this point and look forward to its completion. However, given the time frame of opening, I decided to pursue more immediate opportunities.
Chief Executive Officer of MGM Grand Resorts, John Redmund, said of the resignation, “Mark has done a splendid job for us and we wish him well in his new ventures.” Mr Redmund insisted that plans for the new MGM MIRAGE project are on schedule and unchanged. He continued, “ We expect MGM MIRAGE’s new casino resort, located at Renaissance Pointe, to be completed in 2005.”
Mr Juliano had been with the company for just over two and a half years.
MGM MIRAGE is an entertainment, hotel and gaming company, headquartered in Las Vegas. It owns and operates through subsidiaries 18 casino properties on three continents. It’s U.S. holdings include: Bellagio, the MGM Grand Hotel and Casino – The City of Entertainment, The Mirage, Treasure Island, New York – New York Hotel and Casino, the Boardwalk Hotel and Casino and 50% of Mote Carlo, all located on the Las Vegas strip; the Golden Nugget in Downtown Las Vegas; Whiskey Pete’s, Buffalo Bill’s, the Primm Valley Resort and two championship golf courses on the California/Nevada state line.
