|ATE, the organiser of the forthcoming Betting Show at the Birmingham NEC, England, has announced it is pleased to welcome aboard the Irish Betting Office Association as endorsers of the exhibition.|
The news was welcomed by Paul Vickers, managing director of show exhibitors Drinkmaster, who stated: 'This is great news for the Betting Show. We wrote some fantastic new business with Irish bookmakers at last year's show and as a result have been visiting betting shops all over Ireland. We found that there's some great new things happening that have yet to reach the UK and if the IIBOA's support helps to bring more Irish visitors to the show we would be more than pleased.'
Brian Keenan, chairman of the IIBOA added: 'We are delighted to have agreed a partnership with The Betting Show 2004 to encourage more of our members to attend this important industry event and help develop the business potential of bookmakers across Southern Ireland. The show is the only one of its kind in Europe and as a visitor myself for the past 12 years I believe there are great benefits in attending. I am extremely pleased that the IIBOA committee have agreed to formally offer their support.'
The endorsement is expected to highlight the significance of the exhibition, which seeks to represent all elements of the Industry. The Betting Show will be held at the Pavilion, NEC, Birmingham on 19-20 October 2004.
