The newest product to be released into the online gambling market has just been launched by Cantor Index. The site Cantor have developed, called Spreadfair.com focuses on spread betting, instead of the usual fixed odds system. The site will charge players a five percent commission, which is the method via which most of these spread betting sites make their profits.

Managing Director of Cantor, Lewis Findlay released a statement to help launch the product to the public, saying: 'This is the future of spread betting. People are now familiar with betting exchanges and I think we can take a larger percentage of spread betting on to an exchange than for fixed odds betting.”

These kinds of betting exchanges are different from usual bookmaking business, as they allow players on the sites to bet against each other. Usually better prices can be found on these sites, which is one of the main reasons these kinds of betting exchanges are becoming more popular with players. Although spread betting sites account for only a small portion of the gambling industry as a whole, it is thought they now make up more than 10 percent of the online gambling market.
