|Youbet.com, the Internet provider of thoroughbred, quarter horse and harness racing content in the US has signed a multi-year agreement with VIS iTV to become the U.S. platform for the launch of I-Race.|
Punters will however have to wait until the first quarter of 2005, before they can play the Scottish company’s popular virtual horse management and race entry game, which lets punters a chance to own, train and race a stable of virtual horses. Broadcast from Scotland, I-Race, VIS iTV is a 50:50 joint venture company between Flextech Television and VIS entertainment.

Virtual horse ownership games are similar to fantasy leagues for professional football and baseball and can be played all year along, regardless of the reason, giving operators a steady source of revenue.
