GameTech's New Vice President

GameTech International has announced that it has appointed gaming industry veteran Mark Lowell as vice president of research and development.


Lowell will be charged with directing the company’s engineering operations and implementing internal controls, systems and procedures in order to maintain the orderly flow of new products to the market.


GameTech Chief Executive Officer Clare Thiesen said, “Mark Lowell is an outstanding addition to GameTech’s management team. Mark has a diverse breadth of background with technology experience with technology companies, including many years in the gaming industry. I am confident in his ability to manage and implement complex product development programs in a cost effective and timely manner.”


Lowell has fifteen years of broad-based technology experience. Prior to joining GameTech, he was vice president of customer operations VitalLink, a 130-employee technology start up. He was also co-president of Aristocrat, Inc., a company specializing in the design and manufacture of video gaming machines, game content and information management systems for casino gaming markets.


Thiesen added: “GameTech has forged its industry-leadership position on the strength of innovative products and information systems that stimulate consumer play and, in turn, bring added profit to our hall operator customer base. Mark’s leadership and industry knowledge will be instrumental in spurring future product initiatives.”
