Greektown Casino Opens Poker Room

Greektown Casino ahs become the first Detroit market casino to open a poker room.


The poker room will be located on the casinos lower level off Trapper’s Alley across from the Olympia Restaurant and will accommodate 43 players at five tables.


Greektown Casino Chief Operating Officer Sal Semola said, “We are constantly seeking ways to enhance the gaming experience for our guests. Our players long have asked us to open a poker room so we are happy to meet the market demand.”


The new poker room will be open 24 hours a day.


Greektown Casino is in the heart of Greektown, Detroit. It is an entertainment destination that features around 2,400 slot machines and 103 table games in 75,000 square feet of Mediterranean-themed space. The casino was voted ‘Best Casino’ in the market by readers of the Detroit Free Press in April of this year.


Guests at Greektown Casino can also experience over twenty restaurants, pubs, confectioneries and other shops in the Greektown neighbourhood and nearby Harmonie Park. There are more than 1,600 hotel rooms within quick access of Greektown Casino.


Greektown Casino is located at 555 E. Lafayette, a six-lane road that is a direct exit off I-375, a block from the Casino’s main entrance.
