Scientific Games Corporation has announced that the Connecticut Lottery Corporation has agreed to exercise all five one-year options to enable the company to extend their current online system and services contract. The extensions will expire in May of 2008, and as part of the agreement; Scientific Games will install its customized and fully integrated Games Management System. The system was designed to facilitate the accounting and management of both the Lottery’s online and instant product. The value of the extension agreement is believed to stand at $46 million.

President of SGI Systems, Bill Huntley, said, “The Connecticut Lottery Corporation has been a valued customer of ours and we are pleased that they have chosen to work with us for five more years. The software upgrade will be a significant enhancement to the entire lottery system that will result in a notable increase in efficiency, service to retailers and quality of management reports.”

President and CEO of the Connecticut Lottery Corporation, James Vance, added, “Over the years, we are fortunate to have developed and sustained a close working partnership with Scientific Games International. It makes perfect sense to us to continue this partnership for an additional five years especially with the installation of the new GMS system that will provide us with an even broader range of services and reporting capabilities for our employees, our retailers and our customers.”
