Kanoodle Pulls Gambling Advertising
By philip
Following the lead of its larger competitors such as Google and Yahoo, pay per click search-engine, Kanoodle, has announced that from today (October 1st), it will no longer accept listings for sites that are devoted to any form of online gambling.

‘After much consideration and review,’ explained Kanoodle, ‘the decision has been made to join virtually every other sponsored links company to stop accepting business from casinos and gambling related advertisers, including sports gambling. Kanoodle defines these sites as those that accept wagers and bets or sites that require payment in exchange for the chance to win prizes, as well as those that refer consumers to such sites.’

As mainstream search engines increasingly abandon the Internet gambling industry, Gambling.com’s decision to transform from information portal to the ultimate in highly refined search-engine for all things gambling related, becomes all the more timely and significant.
