Online sportsbook has Kerry taking marginal lead
By philip
We all know that the sportsbooks are far more reliable than the Gallup polls in forecasting the future and, in what is proving to be the most bet on political event ever, Sports Interaction have come up with some surprising results. While the presidential wagering race has always been a close call, sportsbooks have generally had Bush marginally ahead, Sports Interaction has announced Kerry rocketed up to take sixty percent of the vote.

The online sportsbook allows users to bet on the overall winner and who take key states. Intriguingly, 59% have bet on George W. Bush to win swing state Florida.

The election is part of Sports Interaction's 'special' bets section, in which you can also bet on whether the U.S. will elect a female president by 2010, whether Eminem will write a children's book, or whether George W. Bush will convert to Islam.
