|Vegas.Com are releasing a new hub on the Spanish language site, geared towards helping Spanish speaking consumers booking trips to Las Vegas. Developed in conjunction with internet provider AOL Latino, the new portal offers up to date information on the glittering city, and also hosts systems through which to book trips.|
The site will be co-branded, with Vegas.com set to become the leading provider of travel information and e-commerce services relating to Las Vegas for Spanish speaking customers. The site can be accessed either through using the keyword function on AOL and typing in Vegas Viajes, or entering the URL address: aol-latino.Vegas.com into the browser bar. The addition to the site could prove to be a lucrative one for both parties. Statistics released by Scarborough Research reveal that Las Vegas is the number one destination for US resident Hispanics and travel is the largest segment for online spending by the same population. Also the growth predicted for Hispanic spending on travel websites is 7 percent, ahead of the national average of 4 percent.
