Mayor Goodman In Talks With Online Gaming Site
By sam
Las Vegas Mayor Oscar Goodman met last week with an online casino in regard to using the famous city’s name and official seal in an Internet venture.

This is the second time Goodman has entertained the idea, last year he proposed the idea in conjunction with an Australian based site, VegasOne.com. Goodman later abstained from the move after learning of a possible conflict of interest.

The company involved this time are Virtgame.com, who claim to have “developed a technology that identifies the geographic location of a customer, Allowing Internet gaming to be offered only to targeted markets in targeted geographic regions.”

Goodlatte believe that this is a good way to help generate revenue for Las Vegas, the city would have stood to make an estimated $90 million had the deal with VegasOne.com gone through.
