|GamSure, a bond guarantee provider for the remote gaming gambling industry, has announced it has rebranded as GamBond. In a move to reposition itself in the market and roll out a global player’s bond scheme, the company felt GamBond better reflected their business objectives with a brand that lends itself better to the global marketplace. |
'Although GamSure did reflect what we were doing in the business, we felt it didn't encapsulate the global reach of our players bond scheme,” said Gareth Wong, founder of GamBond.
In a further move in its global growth strategy, GamBond has announce the appointment of Jack Wigglesworth to its board, as an independent non-executive Chairman with immediate effect.
Jack’s career started in 1963 with Phillips & Drew as a gilts desk economist, where he later went on to hold senior positions with W. Greenwell & Co, Lloyds Merchant Bank, Henderson Administration, J. P. Morgan Futures and Citifutures Ltd. Jack was a member of the founding body of the London International Financial Futures and Options Exchange (LIFFE) and was appointed Director of the Board (1982-1998), later being the Deputy Chairman of LIFFE (1992-1995) and Chairman (1995-1998).
“I am delighted that Jack has joined the board of GamBond as an independent non-executive chairman,” added Wong. “To have someone with his calibre of experience in financial services will significantly strengthen our board, and provide GamBond with the financial guidance and expertise needed to establish a global bond scheme.”
