Sportsbook.com has listed the American League as a 1.5 run favorite over the National League in the Major League Baseball All-Star Game which will take place on July 12, 2005 in Detroit. The online sportsbook and casino has also listed Vladimir Guerrero and Alex Rodriguez as the favorites to hit the game’s first home run.

“Next to the World Series itself, nothing gets baseball fans as excited as the All-Star game,” says Peter Childs, Odds Maker, Sportsbook.com. “Because of that we’ve worked hard to put together an incredible list of entertaining propositions for our fans to wager on.”

In addition to odds on the result of the game itself, Sportsbook.com is offering odds on the margin of victory, total runs scored by each team, whether there will be a run scored in the first inning, which team will score first and which player will hit the first home run of the game – to name a few. There are also individual player odds – for example, fans can bet on whether Derrek Lee of the Chicago Cubs records an RBI or whether Red Sox outfielder Johnny Damon scores a run.

A complete list of odds and propositions on the All-Star game can be found at www.sportsbook.com.
