Moscow Passes New Gambling Bill
By Andrew
Moscow City has passed a new bill aimed at curbing the uncontrolled growth of game machine numbers and to enable municipal authorities to win back control over gambling in the city.

The new law states that gambling halls must now be at least 100m away from educational institutions and that game machines could no longer be installed in housing dwellings, state offices, hospitals, stores or supermarkets.

This move will signal a redistribution of gambling businesses in Moscow, with only the largest gambling companies expected to survive.
