|The increasing popularity in reality TV betting is set to continue this weekend with William Hill bracing themselves for a betting bonanza as all three reality TV programmes for which they run a market, come to their climax. |
William Hill Spokesman, Rupert Adams said, ‘We will be hoping for a couple of upsets this weekend as all three favourites have been well backed. Should they all win this weekend, it will be a black day for bookmaking.’
The biggest move in the betting has come from the unlikely source of Daz Simpson who was the subject of a substantial gamble, including a £1000 wager. As a result, his odds of winning 'Making Your Mind Up' have been shortened from 10/1 to 9/2. Despite the movement on Daz Simpson, the favourite for 'Making Your Mind Up' is Anthony Costa (Beautiful Thing) at 11/10 with Kym Marsh (Whisper My Name) at 4/1.
In other reality TV markets, 'Just The Two Of Us' favourites are Chris Fountain & Jo O' Meara at 5/6 closely followed by Mark Moraghan & Natasha Hamilton at 7/4. Otherwise, William Hill practically see ‘Dancing On Ice’ as a foregone conclusion with odds of 4/6 on Gaynor Faye followed by Bonnie Langford at 11/4 with Stefan Booth being the outsider at 3/1.
