GamArena, the European online skill games network, has signed yet another prestigious distribution agreement. This time the lucrative alliance is with Aftonbladet, Sweden’s largest newspaper and part of the Schibsted ASA.

Aftonbladet is the largest circulation newspaper in Sweden and its associated website tops the charts in terms of online traffic & usage. The deal will see GamArena work with Aftonbladet to introduce online skill games to their audience of more than 8 million monthly visitors.

Andrew Pegler, Managing Director of GamArena Ab, said, “We are extremely excited to be working with such a premium media brand as Aftonbladet. They have demonstrated numerous times before that they innovate in the online space and provide their readers with high quality content.”

When the plans are put into fruition this summer visitors to Aftonbladet’s website will be able to play a wide range of next generation skill games within a safe and secure environment that is fully branded as Aftonbladet.

Johan Åsén, business developer of Aftonbladet New Media, added, “Games will become an important piece of our online offering and skill games provide enormous entertainment to players. We have been really impressed by the quality of the GamArena proposition and expect our audience to do likewise.”
